Bio

Jari is an artist and fine art photographer whose work has been featured in such magazines as COLOR and Black and White. Her work has been exhibited nationally and has won awards from Neutral Density Magazine, Monochrome, Moscow International, PhotoPlace Vermont, Pollux Awards, PX3, to name a few. Jari holds an MFA in Visual Arts at Lesley University, Boston.

Statement

I am an artist and photographer spellbound by the magic of printmaking. I work primarily with the polymer photogravure process with solarplates, and enjoy the possibilities of combining matrices and techniques like intaglio, monotypes, stencils, chine colle, a la poupee, as well as traditional art media such as pencil, charcoal, pastels and paint.
