This workshop introduces students to the traditional craft of printing expressive, hand-drawn lines from copper plates. Over the span of four guided sessions, students will learn each step of the process—from preparing and grounding a 4×4” plate to drawing, biting, inking, and printing on the press. Participants are encouraged to bring ideas and imagery they’d like to explore. By the end of the course, students will have created a small edition of prints and a solid foundation in the intaglio technique.
