Through abstracted human forms, systematic patterning and geometric fields I create dynamic compositions representing unspoken connections between people. I am constantly studying those around me. Whether interacting with them personally or observing a distant conversation, I find it fascinating the amount of information that goes unnoticed by both parties and the way that data is transferred without the need for words. Recently, this has developed into a pursuit of pressure and a study of symmetry. Pressure refers to the weight of living; consumption, time, and presence. Symmetry is the repetition of life and the constant need to create order when a cycle of comfort is broken.
