This scholarship is to help give access to Ink Shop workshop for those taking classes here for the first time. One scholarship is offered per session. Funds have generously been provided by Kumi Korf and her family in memory of Kumi’s grandson Zak Korf.
In Memory of Zak Korf
“My grandson, Zak, was always agreeable to my suggestions that we try making art together, whether that was painting, calligraphy, or fish printing. I thought we would have more chances to do this, but his life ended abruptly. I believe that if I had suggested he attend a printmaking workshop at The Ink Shop, he would have been open to the new experience. This scholarship is, therefore, intended for first-time printmakers — for workshop participants who may not know what to expect, and have a curious mind.”
